Inspired by the work the charity delivers, she has organised successful beach cleans, spoken at our Youth Eco Conference, and petitioned to reduce plastic packaging. Billie has garnered awards and recognition for her outstanding work, inspiring hope for the future.

Find a list of upcoming events and beach cleans by the Final Straw Foundation for 2024 here! We try to run at least one public beach clean per month, and manage attendance of these events using ticketsource or other sign-up websites so that we have an idea of numbers. Thanks!

The festive season can generate lots of waste, but the Final Straw Foundation offers some tips to help curb this. Primarily, try more sustainable packaging for online orders and use recyclable wrapping paper. Donating unwanted gifts instead of trashing them, as well as being mindful of Christmas food waste, can make a difference.
